Large Real Estate Company, based in Jersey City, is looking for an Experienced Assistant
Residential Property Manager.
We are seeking a well-rounded “take charge” Assistant Property Manager to assist in managing
several Mid and High Rise residential/commercial/multi-family rental properties in Jersey
City/North Bergen area. The Assistant Property Manager will liaise with tenants; assist in the
supervision of building staff and maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-
directed, and reliable and enjoy working with people. Must have a car and a valid driver’s license
and be available and “On-call”.
The qualified candidate will have the following:
-Demonstrates strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
-Exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
-Be able to develop a good rapport with tenants.
-Manage tenant relations, coordinate requests for repairs and maintenance, and other tenant
concerns.
-Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently.
-Works well with a team.
-Ability to handle projects.
-Flexible schedule and must be available to work weekends.
Knowledge:
-At least 5 years Property Management Experience.
-Knowledge of Building Link, Rent Café and/or Yardi,
-Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google products.
